Private Lessons

Whether you're learning to drive for the first time, looking for additional practice, preparing for your road test, or simply want to become a safer and more confident driver, Middlesex Driving Academy offers private driving instruction designed around your individual needs.

Our private lessons are available for both teens and adults and are taught by some of our most experienced driving instructors. Every lesson is truly private - just you and your instructor, with no other students or observers in the vehicle.

Who Are Private Lessons For?

Every driver is different. Some need a little extra practice, while others benefit from a more comprehensive one-on-one learning experience. Private lessons are especially helpful for:

• New drivers who want additional behind-the-wheel experience
• Adults learning to drive for the first time
• Nervous or anxious drivers who want to build confidence
• Teens who have limited opportunities to practice driving at home and struggling to achieve the 40 hours required by the RMV
• Drivers who want help with specific skills such as parallel parking, backing up, three-point turns, lane changes, intersections, or driving in heavier traffic
• Drivers preparing for the Massachusetts road test
• Drivers who have previously failed a road test and want focused preparation before trying again
• Drivers returning to driving after an extended period away from the road
